Dear Charlotte Christian Community,
You are invited to a community-wide job transition seminar that Charlotte Christian is hosting on Friday, Feb. 20 from 8-10 a.m. in the kindergarten multipurpose room. Jerry Derck, Charlotte Christian alumni parent and former Board member, will lead the seminar which will focus on resume building, networking and preparation for interviewing. Derck is the author of What’s Next? God’s Design for Job Change and will draw from his 35 years of corporate decision-making, counseling, Bible study leadership, and personal experiences with adverse job change. He will speak on the biblical example of Noah’s journey with job change and will provide unique insights into the challenging issues faced during job loss and change. This seminar is perfect for anyone facing or anticipating transition in the workplace. Derck is a committed Christian and a retired senior human resources executive from a global N.Y.S.E. company.
