I heard a "rumor" this past weekend that the Union County job fair may get cancelled. With the budget cuts (everywhere), it appears they are looking to shift teachers around and hire from within before looking elsewhere.

A tough year to enter teaching!

I DID just spot a posting on one of the job boards that Union Academy (a charter school near Monroe) is looking for a headmaster. Union Academy has quite a nice reputation in the county. It would be worth looking into if you are qualified.
